Nigerian Blessing Oborududu on the verge of making history after she made it to the final of the 68kg Women’s wrestling events at the ongoing Tokyo 2020 Olympics beating Mongolian’s Soronzonbold  7-2  in the Semi-finals played early on Monday morning, Owosports.com.ng reports.

This comes as a huge sigh of relief for Team Nigeria in a campaign that was looking like it was going to be Nigerian’s worst performance ever at the multi-sports events in Tokyo as the Country now has hopes of winning at least  Gold or Silver  medal in the final of the women’s 68kg wrestling events.

She beat Azerbaijani Elis Manolova & Meerim Zhumanazarova of Kyrgyzstan to advance to her first Olympic semi finals.
