Ahead of Algeria’s friendly encounter on Tuesday, head coach of Algeria National team Djamel Belmadi showered praises on the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will lock horns with the Desert Foxes of Algeria in an international friendly game in Oran.

“Nigeria is another game. You need automatisms to have a smoother game. On the other hand, we have a good opposition. It’s not a small team,” the Ex Algeria international said in his match presser.

The 46-year-old manager also promised to use a strong side after regular starters Riyad Mahrez, Youcef Belaili and Aissa Mandi were on the bench in the team’s 1-0 against Guinea.

“We will try to get the whole group to play. The next game there will be more connection in our game because there will be players who are used to being there,” Belmadi said.

The Super Eagles have not been defeated by the North Africans in their last three meetings.

Islam Slimani’s 79th minutes strike was the difference when Djamel Belmadi’s side defeated the Syli Stars of Guinea 1-0 last week Friday.

In what will be the coach’s Belmadi third meeting with the Super Eagles since becoming the coach of Algeria in 2019, hopes to record his second victory over the west African side when they both face off on Tuesday night.
