Former Nigeria U-23 Defender Anothny Izuchukwu has arrived Super Eagles camp in Austria after being headed a late invitation by coach Gernot Rohr ahead of the double header friendlies against Cameroon, Owosports.com.ng can report.
The 23-year-old Spartak Trnava of Slovakia defender arrived the team’s camp in Vienna, Austria on Wednesday night increasing the number of players in camp to 21.
Ola Aina, Semi Ajayi and Tyronne Ebuehi are the key defenders who have all pulled out of friendly date with Cameroon on Friday due to injury leaving the Super Eagles gaffer with no options but to extend invitations to Anthony Izuchukwu who has now arrived to fill in the vaccum.
Izuchukwu’s arrival increased the number of defenders available to six with William Troost-Ekong, Chidozie Awaziem, Shehu Abdullahi, Jamilu Coliins and Valentine Ozorwanfor already in camp.
