Plateau United Football club will look to seal progression to the group stage of the CAF Confederation cup when they take on Al-Akhder of Libya.
The match will down on Wednesday November 9th 2022 at the Benina Martyrs Stadium in Libya.
Plateau United will go into the game with a 4-1 lead and would be hoping to consolidate on that results as they hope to reach the group stage of the competition while Al-Akhder will be hoping to pull surprise a comeback.
First choice goalkeeper Suraj Ayeleso is however confident that they will qualify for the group adding that they’ve done all they could in the first leg to ensure that the second leg becomes less difficult so they can avoid what happened in Tunisia.
“We are going into tomorrow’s game with the mind set of qualifying for the group phase of the CAF Confederations cup”, He said to Owosports.com.ng.
The former Kano Pillars shot stopper also expressed sadness following their elimination from CAF Champions leg.
“Dropping out from the Champions League was so devastating looking at the way we were eliminated due to some errors. That was why we gave in that performance in the first leg so the second can be easier so as to avoid a repeat of what happened in Tunisia”, He said.
