Exclusive:Kwara United snap up three KFA players

Three Kwara Football Academy wonderkids have been snapped up by Kwara United ahead of the new NPFL season.

The Players, Abubakar Garba, Godwin Oshagbemi and Sunday Samuel have all grown through the enviable youth programmes of the Academy over the years.

While both Garba and Godwin have dominated the many cadres of the football college by winning several awards both in and outside the States, they have also on record scored more than 100 goals each.

The duo, who were also part of the historic team that won the YSFON National tournament, Ramat Cup in Kano back to back has impressed the Technical crew of Kwara United who have monitored their trajectories.

That Sunday Samuel has also over the years endeared himself to many with his daredevil attitude up front and goal scoring ability, the prodigy alongside his colleagues will be hoping to take their career to the next level with the Harmony Boys in the coming season.

“The Head Coach of the team has requested for their services ahead of the new season. They are expected to resume to the training of Kwara United in a matter of days” a source at KFA said.

A Kwara United official who also craved for anonymity noted that the Technical crew of the team have monitored the development of the trio and Coach Azeez Muhammad has decided to integrate them into his plan for the new season.

The trio will team up with other graduates of the Academy like high flying Striker Wasiu Jimoh, Ahmed Taofeeq, Issa Gata, Kabiru Balogun,Ayodeji Bamidele and Goalkeeper Adewale Adeyinka
