All is set for the 2019 edition of the Niger State Governor’s Cup draws to take the centre stage at Minna, the State Capital.
According to reports, the draws which will take place at the Conference room of the Niger State Ministry of Sports will hold on 19th of December, 2019 at 9am.
The draws which will have all the Chairmen and Secretaries of the Local Football Councils of the 25 Local Governments of Niger State in attendance would be conducted under the auspices of the State FA Chairman, Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Fresh who is also the Chairman, NFF Technical and Development Committee.
This year edition will see all the 25 Local Governments heading to Kontagora Local Government as the host.
It would be recalled that Mokwa Local Government was the host of the last Governor’s Cup which held in 2017 where Bida Local Government Contingents emerged the champions by defeating the host, Mokwa in the final 2-1.
