The Nigeria Minister for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Sunday Dare has landed in Ilorin, Kwara State Capital for the Closing ceremony of the 7th Kwara Sports Festival.
The Sport Minister will be the guest of honour at the grand finale of the Sports Festival which commenced on Sunday, 27th of January.
The event which is taking place at the Kwara State Stadium Complex will feature series of fun fare like Cultural display and most importantly recognition and acknowledgement of outstanding athletes who have distinguished themselves in the 38 Sports featured event.
Interestingly, the Hon. Minister in company of the State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq witnessed the final event of the Volleyball between Offa LG and Isin LG yesterday and also presented medals to athletes who have emerged from different Sports since the beginning of the fiesta.
The Closing Ceremony holds this afternoon.
