FIFA Council Election Triumph: Berackiah International Boss Hails Amaju Pinnick

More encomiums are pouring in for Amaju Pinnick, as Mr. Wonders N. Nwigwe, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Berackiah International became the lastest to congratulate the President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) following his triumph at the FIFA Council election.

Amaju, a former Delta Football Association boss attained the exalted seat after defeating his only rival, incumbent Walter Nyamilandu of Malawi by 43 votes to 8 at the CAF Ordinary and Elective General Assembly held on Friday in Rabat, Morocco.

Nwigwe in a statement, “The victory is not for Amaju alone but indeed for Nigerian and African football.

“The beautiful round leather game in the continent needs restructuring so as to catch up with the new trends.

“The new trends better football administration, regular coaching clinics effective talent hunting at the grassroot, which is the bases of football.

“At Berackiah International, our goals is to see coaches in Africa develop, by giving them quality education via clinics we organize.”

Pinnick becomes the third Nigerian to serve in world football’s highest decision-making body, after the late Etubom Oyo Orok Oyo and Dr Amos Adamu.
