FIFA Rankings: Worldcup Qualifying Wins Not Enough As Super Eagles Maintains 34th Position

World Football Governing Body, FIFA, has on Thursday released it’s latest rankings for the month of September, Owosports.com.ng reports.

Victories recorded by Nigeria in the opening two FIFA Worldcup qualifying matches against Liberia and Cape Verde was not enough as three times Africa champions Nigeria maintained it’s August 34th position on the latest rankings.

The Teranga Lions of Senegal remains Africa’s highest ranked team as they are in 20th place, The Cartage Eagles of Tunisia moved three places to 25th, 2019 Africa cup of Nations champions Algeria are 30th and Morocco in 33rd.
