Former 36 Lion Yusuf Lawal Finds New Love In Baku With Neftci FC


Former 36 Lion winger Yusuf Lawal have compeleted a move to Azerbaijan top side Neftci FC of Baku on a three year deal, Owosports reports.

The 22-year-old forward moved to SouthEastern part of Europe from Belgian side Lokeren.

The deal was brokered by two Turkish agents, Ahmet Asik and Aykut Culdan with under the supervision of his father in football and owner of 36 Lion, Hajj Gafar Liamid.

Obagoal has his fondly called due to his similarity with former Super Eagles goal machine, Obafemi Martins, has expressed his delight and appreciate people involved in making the deal a reality.

Yusuf Lawal is a youth graduate of Nigerian club 36 Lion football club before moving to Belgium where he joined Lokeren in 2017.
