Former Super Falcons, U-15 Coach Alala Is Dead

Danladi Nasidi Alala, former Nigeria National Under 15 chief coach has been pronounced dead.

Alala reportedly gave up the ghost in the wee hours of Wednesday in Minna, Niger State capital, after a brief illness.

The veteran coach was the former assistant coach of Super Falcons of Nigeria at USA ’99 and also pioneer coach of Nigeria Under 13 Boys.

Nasidi Alala who last handled Nigeria National U15, was one time coach of Stationary Stores of Lagos, Yobe Desert Stars and Niger Tornadoes FC of Minna.

With his pedigree of youth coaching, he was appointed in 2018 to handle U15 Boys Team also known as Future Eagles.

The appointment saw him working alongside the likes of Haruna Usman ‘Ilerika’; Ahmed Lawal Dankoli; Patrick Bassey and Ernest Salolome.

A great tactician, his death according to Adamu Osmond, the Private Personal Secretary to NFF Technical and Development Committee chairman, Ahmed Yusuf ‘Fresh’ is a great loss.

He described Alala as a dedicated and responsible sports man adding that his demise has created a big vaccum and will be greatly missed .
