Super Eagles vice captain Williams Troost-Ekong has stated that he is expecting a tough game when they face the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon on Friday in Austria.

Speaking to the Super Eagles Media after their last training on Thursday in Austria, the Watford defender said the team is ready to continue their impressive form.

“Yes, It has been a good one (training). We have got a lot of new faces in the camp and everybody is making sure we have a good game so that we can finish up the season well”, the former Udinese defender who was the first to arrive to the Eagles camp reacted to the situation on ground.

“It’s going to be a difficult game because we have played against them a lot in a couple of years. They have always been a difficult opponent” quipped the defender who secured English Premier League promotion along side his compatriots Isaac Success and Tom Dale Bashiru for Watford FC of England.

He noted that their African brothers will be coming for a revenge in the game due to the fact that the Eagles has recently secured some victories against the Cameroonian in crucial ties.

“It’s going to be a team that will like to get a revenge against us because we knocked them out in the World Cup qualifiers and AFCON 2019 round of 16 in Egypt”.

The Nigerian team will be facing Cameroon in double header friendly on 4th and 8th of June.

The first leg of the friendly match is billed for 8:00pm Nigerian time on Friday.
