The NFF executive committee has endorsed the proposal by Bereckiah International Limited, to partner with the Nigeria Nationwide League on capacity-building and enhancement for coaches in the third tier division of Nigeria football league.
The coaching clinic which aims to improve the trainers at the grassroots level for critical impact on football development is an initiative of Berackiah International, a sport promotion and management agency.
The capacity-building and enhancement programmes will hold in the various zones across the country thus: North Central (Abuja); North East (Bauchi); North West (Kaduna); South East (Enugu); South South (Uyo); South West (Sagamu).
Reacting to the development, Mr Wonder N. Wigwe, the Chief Executive Officer of Berackiah International commended the NFF for the approval as he promised that the programme will meet up with all its targets.
He applauded the NFF for identifying with the goals and objectives of the programme as it seek to fortify grassroot coaches in Nigeria with the up-to-date knowledge in developing football talents and nurturing them to stardom.
The clinic according to him will feature top football coaches from Italy and Nigeria as resource persons, who will take the grassroot coaches in the basics and basis of of the job.
Mr. Rasheed Ola Saraki the head of Administrator and Logistic also made it known the date and time for the programme will be announced very soon, even as he said all is set for the project to kick start.
