John Noble Talks Against ‘Stereotypes’ In Eagles Camp.

It is always a huge dream and desire for every professional footballer to play for their country’s National team, and one of those who also nursed this dream is Enyimba’s first choice goalkeeper Noble John whose dream was fulfilled after been recently called to National team for the just concluded African cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Lesotho respectively.

The excited goalkeeper in an interview on a live Radio program, Classic Sports on Diamond 88.7Fm Ilorin, shared his overwhelming experience and the warm reception he got from the team after arriving the Super Eagles camp for the first time against what he was told before going to the team camp.

“The first time when I got the call up I was happy like every other players would do, it has been a dream of every Nigerian player playing in the league to play for the National team so when I got the call up I was excited, I thank God who made it possible.

“I was happy the way the players welcomed me because before going to the camp the way they were talking about them that if you get there you have to behave yourself and stay on your own, but when I got there the way they welcome me was overwhelming, we play together and do everything together it was fun I was so happy and so much impressed, he said.

The shot stopper also expressed confidence of becoming the Super Eagles number one goalkeeper in the nearest future.

“My dream is to become Super Eagles first choice in future which I know it will come to pass, it just a matter of time and patience and I am definitely working towards that, he concluded.

The Super Eagles had a safe landing for the African cup of Nations in Cameroon following an unbeaten run through the qualifiers after beating Benin Republic 1-0 in Porto Novo also trashed Lesotho 3-0 in the last game played in Lagos on Tuesday.
