Kasimawo Laloko: We Have Lost An Iconic Sports Figure With Palpable Influence – Bukola Olopade

Former Commissioner for Sports in Ogun State, Honourable Bukola Olopade has described the late Chief Kasimawo Laloko as an astute Administrator who gave all he had for the promotion and development of the round leather game and sports in general in different capacities.

Hon Olopade said the late Football Administrator is a National treasure whose legacy will continue to thrive.

The former sports commissioner in the Gateway state said “Kasimawo Laloko was a proper description of a passionate and result driven being, give him little resources and watch him turn things around”.

“He touched lives, he brought his Football knowledge to his people in his local community, Ogun State and the Country at large”

“It’s my prayer that everything he lived for will continue to thrive, may the Lord grant His family members and the Football fraternity in Nigeria the fortitude to contain this irreparable loss, We have lost a sports icon with palpable influence”.

The former technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation was said to have succummed the cold hands of death after a brief illness in Abeokuta at the age of 76.

Chief Kasimawo Laloko Will be fondly remembered for his input in football development, particularly, his Pepsi Football Academy initiative which was the most talked about football assembly back in the days
