Kwara United Boss, Biffo Reveals Interest In Handling National Team

Manager of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, coach Usman Abdulahi Biffo has indicated interest in coaching Nigeria national team and the aged grade teams some times in the nearest future.

Biffo speaking to Brila, describe it as a big responsibility handling the National team and anyone appointed must be ready for the task ahead.

“It’s not a small task, that is why you don’t get to blame the NFF whenever they make any choice in appointing a coach, such a person must be ready to carry out a lot of responsibilities,’ He told Brila.

Kwara United coach who had a stint with Katsina United however revealed that he would like to start from the age-grade team so as to use knowledge gathered with youth development in developing talent for the country.

“We need to be objective and be constructive so, you can’t jump knowledge, I think I have been in the league since 2005, I have grown and developed a couple of young players in the league, if I’m given an opportunity I will like to start from the age-grade, the age-grade could be U15, U17 or U20 national teams.

Biffo and his Kwara United where battling for survival in the Nigeria Professional Football League sitting in 19 position with 28 point prior to the postponement on March 27 due to the spread of Covid19.
