Coach Usman Abdullahi first win for his new team.
The former Enyimba gaffer bears the much needed fruit for the Bauchi based team to eat at least  after a draw in his first game against Adamawa Utd away from home.

Much to expectations, the result is the first fruit of the overhauling idea of the northern clubside  having changed all their coaching crew with some players being released and at the same time securing new able legs to prosecute the rest of the top flight campaign.

▶Kwara United forced to a draw in Ilorin

Kwara Utd 0-0 Sunshine Stars
It was a goaless draw in Ilorin  as Coach Kabiru Dogo led the Owena Whales down to the capital city of  the State of Harmony.

A fiercely and closely contested encounter, both teams would at the end shared the spoils after failing to replicate their last match feat of victory .

▶Katsina  in another draw on the road

Heartland 0-0 Katsina United

It was yet again another draw for Coach Makinwa led side in Okigwe after their mid week clash against Kano Pillars as they shared the spoils.

Heartland had defeated Enyimba in Aba on MatchDay 15.

It was a fair show from both sides though with ample goal chances not hitting the back of the net.

▶Dakkada FC hold Lobi in Makurdi

Lobi 0-0 Dakkada FC
Dakkada FC were able to hold NPFL table toppers, Lobi Stars at home .
Rivers United had defeated Lobi on MatchDay 15 of the league .

An unconvincing result from Markudi this weekend. The result now have the Ogunbote side losing the top spot to Plateau on goal difference.

▶Plateau United pounce Adamawa Utd

Plateau Utd 5-0 Adamawa Utd
It was a five-star performance from Plateau United as they condemned  Adamawa Utd to give ‘unreplied’ goals in Jos.

In what appears be a convincing return to winning ways , Coach Abdullahi Maikaba led side seems to have wake up from a nap and are ready to go all out to live up with the challenge of maintaining a competitive edge in the top flight.

They now stand tall on the log as the leader though edging Lobi Stars FC on goal difference and on same points.

It was however a poor outing for Adamawa Utd who have actually not shown a great deal of competitiveness into the season as newcomers so to speak.

▶FC Ifeanyi Ubah compounds Enyimba woes

Ifeanyi Ubah 2-0 Akwa United
Like their last league match against Heartland, Enyimb  again lost 2 goals to nil to Ifeanyi Ubah away from home.

The results further revealed the need for a critical and holistic review of the team set up in order to avoid any further damage which might prove so demanding to get over.

May be not Enyimba of all teams, this is football and it’s dynamisim, it requires a lot of hands on deck this time arround if at all coming back to winning ways will live to see the light of the day.

▶Rangers FC in another win
Rangers 3- 1Abia Warriors

After defeating Warri wolves in their last game away from home, Rangers have picked up another three maximum points, but this time around against their Oriental Derby rival, Abia Warriors.

Finding their rythm, the Flying Antelopes have relatively struggled to stay a float of the top flight into the season while they are also prosecuting their way in another continental football fiesta.

▶Kano pillars overpowers Akwa United

Kano 2-0 Akwa Utd

Nyima Nwagua and Rabiu Ali goals with in three minutes in the  76th and 79th minutes of the game earned the Pyramid City top sides the much needed three points.

It was the season first goal for Rabiu Ali, the captain of the team who was reinstated back to the fold after the LMC magananimity over his unsporting unduly disposition during the Super 6 League Championship which was held in Lagos last year.
