Bayelsa Queens forward Mercy Itimi says they will put no stone unturned when they file out against ᴀᴍᴘᴇᴍ ᴅᴀʀᴋᴏᴀ ʟᴀᴅɪᴇs of Ghana in the final of Women CAF Champions League qualifiers WAFU B on Saturday evening.

Both side met in the group phases of the competition currently ongoing in Cote D’Ivoire where they played out a barren draw but the attacker believes it will be a different ball game this time in the final.

“What happened in the first game was that we didn’t take our chances they weren’t anywhere better than us but this time around we will come out to get the win”, she told www.owosports.com.ng.

She also added that their main objective of being in Cote D’Ivoire was to pick the ticket to represent Nigeria at the biggest stage the CAF women’s Inter-club competition which is the Women CAF Champions League holding in Morocco later this year.

“The target is to beat them (ᴀᴍᴘᴇᴍ ᴅᴀʀᴋᴏᴀ ʟᴀᴅɪᴇs) and qualify for the CAF Champions League that is our major motivation and we are focused and prepared to make it count on the field of play”, She said.

The final match will go down at the Stade De Yammosoukro, Cote D’Ivoire.

Nigeria’s representative at the maiden edition of the Women’s WAFU B championship lost in the final to Ghanian’s Hasaacas Ladies 3-1 but they both qualified for the champions league.
