Super Eagles winger Moses Daddy Simon has expressed his happiness after being voted FC Nantes player of the season by fans of the club.
The Jos born winger was favoured 40% of vote casted by fans of the club to win the award.
24-year-old Moses, spent last season on loan at FC Nantes from Spanish side, Levante scored nine goals and registered eight assists in 30 appearances across all competitions.
Former Genk of Belgium forward who also welcomed his new born Baby girl this year attributes success to God citing it can only be God who has given him such blessings.
“It can only be God, I think it a wish season for me my first season in the French League Une, i became the player of the season in FC Nantes a traditional club, it could be recalled that Samson Siasia played in the same club and the arrival of my new Born Baby it a double Blessing for me this Season, am so excited it gives me a sense of recognition in my career” he said.
He further dedicated his on and off the field success to his darling wife Ibukun Sarah Simon who stood with him throughout the season managing the family couple with the arrival the their Baby girl, he however cited the season as being the best for him so far.
“I think one of the best Season for me I could still remember vividly I had this kind of season with Genk in Belgium where I played in the Champions league that first season it was awesome to know that I was voted the best player of FC Nantes this season I give Glory too God and I dedicate this moment to my beloved wife who stood by me throughout the season it not easy to managed the family for me at the end of the day the arrival of my new born baby a double blessing for me.
The Levante loanee is however hoping to continue with the French league one side FC Nates but stressed that the future lies with God and his manager.
“I look forward for a better season if I will remain with FC Nantes in France or return back to Spain the future lies in the hands of God and as well my manager.”
