Nasarawa United Don’t Owe, Club Chairman Barr. Isaac Danladi Affirms


Barrister Isaac Danladi, Nasarawa United chairman who also doubles as Nigeria club Owners chairman has publicly revealed that team was not owing her players.

Isaac Danladi who was re-appointed as the chairman of Nasarawa United back in February 2020 after being sacked as the chairman of the club in 2018 was a guest via the telephone on a live radio show, Nigeria Sport Express on Jordan FM.

“I’ve said it in different forum I have been opportune to talk, honestly speaking to you just two days ago, precisely on Thursday, players and officials started getting alerts on their phones, Nasarawa United don’t owe players, pay players as at when due and what we agree with them, the players salaries are tied to the civil servants, so once the civil servants are paid they also get their salaries, he stated.

He however revealed that he made sure all outstanding allowances due to the players were paid when he took over six months ago.

“Even when I took over six months ago as the club chairman I made sure we paid them all their outstanding allowances, there is no cause for alarm the players and official are happy the coach has being coaching them online.

Nasarawa United were 17th on the log with 29 points before the league was suspended due to Covid19.
