Ndidi On Target As Leicester City Gives Chelsea The Blues


Super Eagles Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was on target for his English Premiership side Leicester City as they beat Chelsea 2-0 at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night to moved on top of the Premier League table, Owosports.com.ng Reports.

It took Wilfred Ndidi just Six minutes to fire the Foxes into the lead from 20 yards as they needed a win to dethrone league leaders Manchester United.

James Madison doubled Leicester City lead just four minutes before the break, sweeping a cool finish past Chelsea keeper Edouard Mendy on the half-volley from Marc Albrighton’s pass, to hand Leicester City a comfortable win over North London side.

Meanwhile, compatriots Kelechi Iheanacho saw only two minutes of action, after replacing Jamie Vardy in the 88th Minutes.

Leicester City are now a point ahead of Manchester United who travels to London for their premiership clash Against Fulham on Wednesday night.
