It was another historic moment for Kwara State Football Association as the NFF President, Amaju Pininck inaugrates standing committees constituted by the State FA today in Ilorin.
Mr Pinninck, who inaugrated 12 different standing committees commend the Chariman of Kwara FA, who he said has been creating a lot of innovation to develop football at grassroot.
Reminiscing Kwara as a home of football; having produced football Stars for the country, he lauded the efforts of the stakeholders and charge them to be more united in the cause of developing the game.
Mallam Abdullahi Musa revealed that the committee was set up in order to take everybody along as he believes that he is only steering the ship but the responsibility of football development is a duty of all stakeholders.
The committees include, Legal and Appeals committee, organising and disciplinary, Finance, Medical and Safety, Technical, Marketing and Media and Security/Protocols and logistics.
Others are Elders Advisory Council , Strategic Studies and Ethics, Women football development, Beach Soccer and Grassroots football and Youth Development.
The NFF President who was in company of the vice President, Barrister Seyi Akinwumi, General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, LMC Chairman, Shehu Dikko, Chairmen of football Association of Oyo State, Niger and Taraba is expected to witness the commissioning the newly built Kwara FA Secretariat by the Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
