Super Eagles duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi inspired Leicester City to a 1-1 draw against Burnley in their Premier League clash at Turf Moor on Wednesday night as they maintained 3rd position on the log with five point above Westham United in fourth.
Mates Vydra fired Burley into an early lead inside the fourth minutes as they stir up an early scare for the Foxes who seems to be heading towards a third consecutive defeat after a 2-0 lost to Slavia Prague which dumped them out of the UEFA Europa league, was followed by a 1-3 defeat to Arsenal on Sunday in the premier league.
Kelechi Iheanacho connected perfectly to Ndidi’s cross as he fired in a superb first time volley to draw the Foxes level in the 34 minutes which was enough to earn them a point at Turf Moor.
Iheanacho speaking in a post match interview said, “It wasn’t a bad game for us tho it was a tough game we started slowly, after their goal we got the momentum we got them running and then we got the equalizing goal.
Iheanacho has now scored two Premier League goals so far this campaign
