Ahead of Friday’s Nationwide league one (Division One) playoffs tie between SGFC Athletics Sports Club and Shooting Stars Sports Club Team B slated for the Osogbo Township Stadium. President of SGFC Athletics SC Richard Opanuga has urged his lad’s to go all out and get the win.
The head of the club’s hierarchy said the encounter would be the biggest game of their growing career, He however urged them approach the game with upmost seriousness and determination ensuring that they get the victory and progress to the next phase.
“You’ve really done well I must commend you guys coming top from the Group in Kwara center wasn’t an easy task but you all played out your hearts, it doesn’t end here though, we still have other hurdles to cross to get to achieve our target.
“Our target is to play in the Nigeria National League (NNL) next season and we are almost there starting from the first playoffs against Shooting Stars on Friday. It’s the biggest game of your career and I want you to approach that with upmost seriousness and determination, I want you guys to go out there fight and come out victorious and then we celebrate”, He concluded.
He further assured the players of the management commitment and total support towards ensuring that everything is put in place towards achieving the set goal.
The game is expected to kickoff by 3:pm on Friday.
