Newly appointed technical adviser of Nigeria National League side, Calabar Rovers, coach Samson Unuanel has stated that the mandate given to him by his employers is to ensure Calabar Rovers gains promotion to the Nigeria Professional football League (NPFL), Owosports.com.ng reports.
The former Osun United gaffer in a chat with Journalist on a WhatsApp platform, believes the mandate is achievable with collective hard work and support from the good people of Cross Rivers State.
“Yeah they’ve stayed long in the NNL, the club want to gain promotion to the NPFL which is good for the club it what everybody wants, to move further to the next level and that was the mandate I was given, and I told everybody that hears that I need the support of everybody to achieve this mandate.
“I am going to work very hard, I’m sure everybody in Cross Rivers State will work very hard to achieve our Mandate,” he said.
The gaffer also revealed his readiness in moving his coaching career outside the shores of Nigeria in the nearest future.
“Yes I said I would have been in Mali by now, but in the nearest future I think I will accept any offer outside the shores of this country it time to go out and do some work.
