NPFL21: Legbara Unhappy After MFM Draw Against Rangers, Targets Maximum Points Against Abia Warriors

MFM Football Club midfielder, Barry Legbara has expressed his dissatisfaction following MFM 1-1 draw against Rangers International in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2020/2021 week five clash at the Soccer Temple, Agege stadium, Lagos state on Sunday evening, owosports.com.ng reports.

The Olukoya Boys despite having controlled the game in the opening 15th minutes of the encounter, it was the Flying Antelopes who opened scoring, as Ugochukwu Ugwuoke headed the visitors in front on the 23rd minutes from a conner kick.

MFM drew level just before the half hour mark, after Tunde Azeez sent in a perfect delivery into the area from a free kick to find an unmarked Muyiwa Balogun who powered in a half volley pass Nana Bonsu to restore parity for the Olukoya Boys, a scoreline which turned out to be the final result.

The Port Harcourt born Midfielder, speaking after the game told OwoSports correspondence by expressing his displeasure following the draw.

“I’m not happy with this draw, it a huge two points lost here, said the combative midfielder.

“Yes we can’t reverse it, but we just have to go away to Abia Warriors and get back the points lost, I am not happy with this results but it has come we have to take it that way.

“We will go to Abia Warriors to recover this two points that we’ve lost here”

“We will be ready for them, we don’t want to know the kind of form they are in at the moment, we expect a tough fight, but we will go there and get the three points”, He added.

The Olukoya Boys travels next to Aba, as they will take on embattled Abia Warriors who have only picked up one point so far this season.
