” The official endorsement by the NWFL, the body charged with overseeing the various Nigeria Women Football Leagues for this year’s edition is a testament that women football lovers should expect nothing but the best in terms of women football and we can only but pledge to abide by the rules of the game, in terms of officiating, players conduct and also abiding by the COVID-19 rules on and off the pitch.” Edeh said.
Eight teams across all tiers of the Nigeria Women Football Leagues are expected to participate in the competition.
