The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) has announced Monday the 16th and Wednesday the 18th of November 2020 as deadline for clubs to signify their interest to participate in the Nationwide and Championship respectively.
The Nigeria Women Football League body also sent a reminder to clubs in the Premiership to submit their licensing documents for the upcoming 2020/2021 Premiership season before Friday, the 20th of November 2020.
The documents include proof of no debts carried over, financial guarantee, CAC documents and medical reports of all players registered.
In an official statement signed by the Chief Operating Officer of the NWFL, Mrs Faith Ben-Anuge, the deadline date set for Nationwide and Championship sides to signify interest to participate in the 2020/2021 season won’t be extended.
The 2021 NWFL Premiership season will kick off on Wednesday, 9th of December 2020 across all centres in the country, while a date will soon be announced for the commencement of the Nationwide and Championship respectively.
