Striker Owolabi Aremu has expressed his excitement to play for NPFL side Kwara United, an achievement which he described as a dream come true.
“Playing for Kwara United is a great feeling for me and a dream come true”, He said to Owosports.com.ng.
Owolabi Aremu joined the Harmony Boys from NNL side Kebbi United where he spent four years after he joined in 2019. The striker has only had three appearance for Kwara United so far this season.
Owolabi speaking on his journey so far said. “I really love football i have always wanted to be a footballer since i was little and i started playing football since I was six and since then my dream for football has been very big and when I was ten i started playing with senior men and that gave me confident and when i was done with secondary school i was more focused on football i then joined an academy team called Omoluabi FC and also played for Gasa FA, and from there I went to play league in Benin Republic.
I came back to Nigeria to play an amateur one with Gidado FC and after then i move to kebbi united from Kebbi now to Kwara United the progression has been amazing.
Speaking on his time at Kebbi United. He said, “My time at kebbi United was great and nice, i was shown love from the fan and management because i helped the team to gain promotion from amateur one to NNL and throughout my four season i was always the top goal scorer and my last season with the club i was still there highest goal scorer and through the hard work i was really loved by the team and they are a great people to me and they treat me like family.
The pacy striker however believes Kwara United will come good in the second stanza of the league and believe they will grab one of the playoffs spot in group A.
He also hope to Play in Europe and become a world star.
