Plateau United Will Play Their Continental Games At Rwang Pam Township Stadium, Says Lapang

The commissioner for Youth and Sports Plateau state, Victor Lapang has called on the Supporters of Plateau United not to worry on venue of where the former NPFL Champions will play there CAF Champions League matches.

Lapang said that there’s an ongoing plan to fix the Rwang Pam Township Stadium, and are working with the ministry of housing to meet CAF standard.

According to him, “their will be an upgrade on the stadium that will meet CAF requirement, hoping work will start soon.

On the issue of Plateau United, “preparations are in Top Gear, we had a meeting with technical crew about two weeks ago, to identify the players the team need, so they can have an impact on the continent, the team have identified about six players to add to the group.

He further said that players have been told to report to camp, latest on the 9th of August 2020, adding that in the next two weeks the players for re-enforcement will join them as they prepare for the forthcoming CAF Champions League and the NPFL.
