The annual Pre -season soccer tournament for Clubs representing Niger State in the various categories of Nationwide League One is set to take the centre stage.
The annual football fiesta is an exclusive tournament for teams representing Niger State at the third tier of the Nigeria league from Division 1,2 and 3.
Organized by Nation Wide League One Clubs in Niger State, the Championship is normally sponsored by the former Sole Administrator of Niger State , Engr. Ibraheem Dada , the tourney is aimed at preparing the teams in order to put thier sides in to good shape for the upcoming season.
Speaking exclusively Owosports.com on the preparation of this year edition, Mr. Adamu Osmond who is the Chairman Organising Committe said All is set for the Championship to kick off while adding that the draws will take place on Sunday 12th January 2020 at UK Bello Arts Theatre Minna,Niger State Capital at 10 am prompt with the tourney beginning afterwards.
The tournament which is now in it’s 7th edition will feature 12 teams of the tourney category.
Nation Wide League One Clubs is an organization which has the blessings and approval from the Niger State Football Association under the able leadership of Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Fresh, who also doubles as the Chairman Technical Development Committe, NFF.
