Samad Kadiri Wins Lebanese Cup With Al Ahed FC

Former Kwara United striker Samad Kadiri has began his Lebanon adventure on a high after he helped his new club Al Ahed FC to the Lebanese elites cup title on Saturday night.

The Lebanese giant beat Al Ansar FC 2-1 to secure the trophy thanks to goals from Muhammed Nasser and Rabie Ataya in the 26th and 61st minutes respectively while Hassan Maatouk netted Al Ansar’s goal having equalized in the 35th minutes before Rabie Ataya netted Al Ahed’s winner.

The former Enyimba and Lobi Stars forward joined Al Ahed FC from Kwara United at end of the season where he Impressed scoring 10 goals in NPFL for the Harmony Boys.

Samad Kadiri who has scored five goals so far for his new club in their preseason campaign saw 90 minutes of action in the elite cup final played at Al Ahed Stadium.
