Warri Wolves FC continued her Unbeaten run for the second stanza of the 2022/23 Nigeria National, League, NNL with a hard fought 2-1 victory over Henserd FC.
Following a not too impressive home record for the season, the Seasiders needed to start well and proove a point but they were faced with a very resolute visiting Henserd FC who traded muscles with their host.
As both sides tried to out do each other and missing clear cut chances in the process, It was the visitors who however first took their chance at the end of the first half when they out snart the Wolves defence before hanging in a killer cross that beat Joke Elvis to put the visitors in front in the first half.
The second half was however a better outing for the Seasiders as Jabbar Malik netted in the equalizer for his side, after the visitors failed to clear out in a goal mouth Scrabble.
Just when it was beginning to look like the points would be shared, Shedrack Okere connected with Micheal Enaruna on a Conner kick to provide the winning goal for his side and take his goal tally in the league this season to 4.
The soft spoken midfeild meastro in a post match Interview said he is excited to be on the score board once again.
He scored home and away against Henserd just as the Seasiders recorded home and away win over Henserd for the season .
Warri Wolves next focus is a Round of 16 encounter against Gombe United to hold in Abuja, Wednesday May 24th
