Super Eagles Call Up Excites Kwara United Striker

Kwara United striker Paul Samson has expressed excitement following his invite to the Super Eagles B ahead of the International friendly against Costa Rica.

The former Abia Warriors striker joined Kwara Utd this summer and was pivotal for Kwara Utd in their CAF confederation cup campaign scoring against AS Douanes of Niger in the first game in Lagos.

The striker in chat with our correspondent expressed his excitement with the call up to the National team adding that it was a thing of delight for any footballer to be called to the National team.

“I’m so excited, It means alot to me I’m really glad to get the opportunity to represent my country and I will try to give my best”, He said to Owosports.com.ng.

The striker believed it was the appointed time form God to favour him adding that he will keep working hard to ensure that the call up keeps coming.

“The was an amazing feeling, sometimes you wait for God’s Blessing but you don’t know the time it would happen but you just keep working and praying.

“I’ve been doing that and getting the call up I think it worth celebrating, this would motivates me to keep working hard”, He added.

Niger takes on Worldcup bound Costa Rica on Thursday 10th of November 2022 in an International Friendly in San Jose.
