Super Eagles Striker Explains Reason Behind Move To Turkish Side


After just recently completed a loan move to Turkish Super lig side Sivasspor, a very close associate to Super Eagles forward Kayode Olanrewaju has revealed reason behind the deal OwoSports Reports.

A close source to the deal revealed that the lure of playing European league football was the reason the 27-year old forward opted to joined another Turkish side Sivasspor from Ukrainian giant Shaktar Donetsk, however praised the negotiating prowess of Magate group in securing the deal.

“Lots of delay on the part of Shaktar but with experience, negotiating skill of his management team; Mr Segun Ogunbayo and Mrs Dora Kayode and most importantly help of God, we got it done.

The Striker spent last season on loan with another Turkish side Gaziantep where he netted 10 goals and 7 assist from 27 appreance across all competitions, making him one of the most successful Nigeria striker in Europe last season, hence could not get a call up by the Super Eagles
