Ubale dumps Jigawa for Katsina Utd

Manir Ubale have dumped Jigawa Golden Stars after he completed a move to Katsina United.

The Zaria born striker signed the dotted lines for the ‘Changi Boys’ Monday at the club secretariat following a smooth negotiation between Ubale’s representatives and Katsina United management.

Club chairman Prince Abdul-Samad Badamasi who confirmed the signing of the former Pillars striker said, “Yes, Manir has signed and he is now one of us at Katsina United FC.

“Every necessary formality regarding his signing have been taken care of and he may be available for our next match.

“We believe in Manir’s quality and wealth of experience, without sentiment he will add a lot of value to our team.” the chairman concluded.

The club has handed Ubale the No. 11 shirt.

Ubale have scored two goals thus far in the ongoing season. One of the goals was against Katsina United when Jigawa Golden Stars visited Muhammadu Dikko Stadium few weeks ago.
