Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has been presented the Power Horse emerging player of the year award by the Globe Soccer Awards based in the United Arab Emirates.
The award was given as a commendation for the 24 years old outstanding performances for both club and country in 2022.
The former Lille of France forward has been impressive for his club Napoli this season both domestically and in Europe helping the Naples-based club to sit at the top of the league and also through to the round of 16 in the Champions League.
He sits at the top of the Italian league goalscoring chart with 10 goals with further two assists.
The 24-year-old was on target for Napoli last weekend helping them to claim victory and will aim to continue his impressive form against Juventus on Friday night.
