Nigeria Men U-20 team The Flying Eagles will take on the Les Petits Éléphants (Young Elephant) of Cote D’Ivoire in the Semifinals of the ongoing U20 WAFU B tournament.
Nigeria beat Ghana 2-0 last weekend in the opening Group B fixtures before playing a 2-2 draw against Burkina Faso on Wednesday to reach the last four of the competition.
The last group game was decided on Saturday between Ghana and Burkinafaso and it was the Burkinababes who emerged victorious following their 2-1 triumph over the Black Satellites.
In group A, Benin defeated ivory Coast by a lone on Friday to finish on top of the group with 7 points while the Ivorian has 6 points.
The result means that Ivorian who finished in the second position will face Nigeria for a place in the final and African Cup of Nations slot while Benin will tackle Burkinafaso.
The two finalists will represent the zone in the 2023 U20 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
