Warri Wolves Players Stage Protest Over Unpaid Salaries, Boycott Training

Players of Warri Wolves have in  protest for their six months unpaid salaries owed them by the club management, refused training today as they walked out of the training ground. Owosports.com.ng reports.

According to reports from an insider, the players who arrived Friday morning for their final training session before making the trip to Enugu, refused to train as they insisted that a comprehensive decision must be made concerning their salaries as they made their way out of the pitch.

Recall that the players who are yet to receive their six months salaries also boycotted one of their training sessions leading to their 2-0 defeat to Dakkada on matchday Seven of the Nigeria Professional Football League at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium Uyo last weekend.

The Seasiders who are  one point above the drop zone will be on the road as they take on Rangers this weekend at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu.
