Wilfred Ndidi Reacts As Leicester City Fails To Qualify For Champions League.

It was the usual last day drama of the English Premier League 2020/2021 Season on Sunday when teams fought for their respective stakes in the most exciting league of the world.

One of the most intriguing part of the moments was the last ground battle of the UEFA Champions League qualification resting solely among Chelsea, Liverpool and Leicester City.

Liverpool had secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Crystal Palace to lay their grips on the table after a struggling campaign and ended the season with 69 points occupying third position on the log.

Leicester 4-2 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur dealt a big blow to their chance of securing the ticket for the European showpiece- And even while Chelsea lost their encounter against Aston-Villa, the London side eventually scale through with their earlier secured one points above the Foxes before the last game.

Consequently after the game,the Leicester midfielder took to his social media handles to react about missing their target and expressed optimism that the team will definitely come back stronger next season.

“Unfortunately we didn’t hit our target but we come back stronger next season. Oh yeah we made history” Ndidi said on his Twitter handle.

Thank you all for your support throughout the season, it was amazing seeing most of you at the stadium” he added.

Meanwhile the Super Eagles midfielder had an impressive season alongside his fellow compatriot; Kelechi Ịheanachọ with their FA Cup glory and an outstanding individual performance which has continued to place them on the wanting list of top teams in Europe.
