Crystal Palace Academy have announced the signing of 18-year-old Jemiah Umolu, a talented young player of Nigerian descent, on a free transfer.
This was announced on the club’s official website. Umolu impressed on trial for the Under-21s last season, scoring and providing two assists in their Premier League International Cup semi-final win over Everton at Selhurst Park.
The young striker began his football journey at West Ham United at age 10, progressing through the ranks to feature for their FA Youth Cup-winning Under-18s side in 2022/23.
“I’m thrilled to sign my first professional contract with such a big club,” Umolu said. “I’m ready to hit the ground running and excited to contribute to the team’s success.”
