Damilola Undergoes Successful Surgery As Primisport Lasora Boss Thanks Donors, Appeal For More Help

In a bid to further achieve a full recovery for one of his female Player, SC Primisport Lasora Boss, Bello-Lasoro Abubakar Ola has appealed for more financial help to clear the medical bill of Oyeleye Oluwadamilola Esther.

Recall that Oyeleye, a female player under the tutelage of SC primisport Lasora was diagnosed of fibroid disease few months ago, the player, according to the club Chief has now undergone a successful injury upon the intervention of some philanthropists.

Explaining her condition, Bello noted that the young lad has had a long battle with the disease untill she collapsed in September last year and had to be rushed to Hospital with the confirmation that only 20% of blood was left in her body.

“She went through a lot of pain at every time of her menstrual period. She felt sharp pain in her pelvic and one day during our training session, she felt dizzy and almost fainted, but was quickly recovered by our first aider”. Bello said

“After resuscitation, full test was carried out and Nine lumps was found covering her womb. According to the hospital, a sum of ₦300,000 was needed to start the operation”

He revealed that an initial efforts produced about 65% of the money needed for the surgery on the heels of critical condition with the hope that the remaining balance would be completed after the Surgery.

According to Bello, the surgery has been successfully done on 19th January, three days away to her Birthday with the player now having a convalescence.

While appreciating to those who have contributed to save the life of the young and promising footballer, he solicited for more help to raise a sum of ₦100,000 needed to clear her bills.

Primisports Lasora Boss who described Damilola as a player with a great potentials recalled how she help her team clinch the Female Football Interest Group (FFIG) soccer competiton in Kwara State in 2018.

A year later, the Defender was also in action when her team reached the quarter-final of the famous Amalgamation of Nigeria Women Football Club Coaches (ANNWFCC) Competiton in Lagos-Her team also got to the semi-final of the tournament in 2020.

While still recuperating, Damilola hopes to return to the field of play in no distant future in order to continue the pursuit of her long dream career.
