Nigeria U-20 Women Worldcup Star and Bayelsa Queens forward Sabastine Flourish has stated emphatically that their aim is to reach the final of the Women’s CAF Champions League to win and bring home the trophy.
The Prosperity Girls bounced back from their opening day defeat to defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns ladies and won their remaining group games against TP Mazembe and Wadi Degla respectively to reach the semifinal of the competition as runners up from Group B.
They will face host AS FAR FC of Morocco in the Semifinals in Rabat, but the striker is not concerned about the opposition but maintained that their ultimate target is to get to the final and win the title.
‘”Our target is to reach the final win trophy and bring it back home”, He said to Owosports.com.ng.
Speaking about her goal drought so far she said there is nothing to be worried about as long as they get the win stating that it’s is committed about the team’s success and not her personal Glory.
“I’m not disappointed not to score as long as we are getting the win, it all about the team not my personal Glory”, She said.
Mamelodi Sundowns will battle Simba FC ladies in Merrakech in the other Semifinals of the competition.
