Former Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo has joined Saudi Arabian club Al Shabab after the expiration of his Manchester United loan deal, OwoSports.com.ng reports.
The former Nigerian international who joined Premier League big guns, Manchester United on an initial six months loan deal from Chinese top-flight side Shanghai Shenhua before extending his stay at Old Trafford to January 2021 after an impressive six months with the Red Devils.
The 31- year old has now signed a two and a half year deal with Al Shabab after passing a routine medical.
“A new chapter”, he tweeted on social media platform after the deal was confirmed.
“Al Shabab has signed Nigerian ??? Odion Ighalo @ighalojude (Ex. Man United striker) for a two and a half years”, The club confirmed on twitter.
The forward will link up with the likes of former Valencia and Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega and ex-Wolves defender Alfred N’Diaye at Al Shabab.
