Nigeria’s ‘Queen of the Tracks’ and Olympian Blessing Okagbare (MFR) has been honoured by the global authority on record-breaking achievements, Guinness World Records.
Owosports.com.ng can report that Okagbare has been named as the most apperance in the Diamond League meetings with a record breaking 67 betwee 2010 and 2018.
Recall in 2016, the 32-year-old recorded feat as the athlete with the most Diamond League Appearances.
Okagbare participated in 38 diamond league events higher than any other athlete in the world, according to the records.
The IAAF Diamond League is a yearly series of track and field meetings held from 2010 till date.

Okagbare holds the women’s 100 metres Commonwealth Games record for the fastest time at 10.85 seconds. She also has the 100m best of 10.79 as the African best in the female category of the race, while winning the African 100m and long jump event in 2010.
