Kwara United right back Abdulhafeez Musa Olororo says the club is still on course to clinching one of the continental ticket for next season despite the club’s present form in the ongoing Nigeria premier football league (NPFL), Owosports.com.ng reports.
The Harmony Boys have had a difficult camping the NPFL this season and currently sit on 8th position with Nine points in Group A of the 2022/2023 NPFL abridged league after two wins, three draws and four defeat.
However the club’s poor form doesn’t troubled the pace right back who believes they have what it takes to turn the situation around in second stanza with the new gaffer in charge.
“We’ve had a poor first so far but we are working hard to make amends in the second round with our target! still on picking the continental ticket which is still very much achieve able”, He said to Owosports.com.ng.
“We’ve been playing away from home which has not been easy for us coming with the results. But I’m certain that with the experience of the new coach and the players on ground things will change to better in the second round and we will achieve our aim.” He added.
On their new adopted home ground the Akure Township Stadium, the defender stated that the Stadium is not new to the team adding that they put in everything to ensure that they get the right results.
“Akure is not new to us and we are going to try get it right in Akure by God’s grace” He concluded.
