ABS FC Benjamin Fredrick Reflects On Flying Eagles WAFU B Glory In Niamey

It is the dream of every professional footballer to put on the Jersey of his or her country at any level, and offcourse a dream also nursed by ABS FC defender Benjamin Fredrick which has now come Into fruition.

Benjamin Fredrick a member of the Ladan Bosso led victorious Flying Eagles team at the just concluded WAFU B U-20 championship in Niamey, Niger Republic in an exclusive interview with www.Owosports.com.ng, shared his excitement stating that it is a feat he could only have achieved by God’s Grace.

“I feel happy and fulfilled, I’m greatful to God for the opportunity even tho I wasn’t opportune to play but I’m greatful for where I am today it’s not by my power but the making of God” he said.

He however expressed how overwhelmed he was when he learnt about his invitation to the Flying Eagles camp in Abuja.

“When I got the call I was very happy because I never believed or thought I would achieve such feat at this level of career it a was dream come true.

Benjamin described the team’s performance as ‘wonderful’ also noting that the coaches gave their best to ensure that they emerge victorious he also believed the team can go on and win the Africa Youth championship holding in Egypt next year.

“Our team was wonderful we played very well with the help of the coaches who gave us the right training and instructions and we gave our best to see that out collective goal was accomplished”,

“We have everything it takes to win the Africa Youth Championship Next Year In Egypt”, He concluded.
