The Director of Football, ABS Ilorin FC ,Alloy Chukwuemeka has called for peace amid the eviction notice from the Kwara State government, www.owosports.com.ng reports.
ABS FC were evicted from their Secretariat based at the premises of Kwara State Stadium Complex in a letter sent to the club by the Kwara state Sports Council, dated June 10.
The need to get a working office for the proposed Kwara State sports commission has been noted as the reason for the eviction according to the the statement titled “Request To Vacant Facility” signed by the Kwara State council’s Secretary, A.J Adebisi.
While reacting to the development, Alloy Chukwuemeka who is also the Executive Club owners of the NPFL Clubs said the issue shouldn’t be robed politically adding that the club will release a statement to the effect of the development soon.

“Gentlemen and Ladies. My attention has just been brought to the issue of eviction of ABS FC from its stadium site office.
We are all members of the sports family and we are together and united”.
“Sports has no business with conventional politics and we have no business joining politics with sports.The Management of ABS FC will soon issue a statement on the matter”
Chukwuemeka urged all the stakeholders to remain focused and be United as one family in the spirit of sportsmanship.

ABS Ilorin FC is currently seating 4th on the 2020/2021 Nigeria National League (NNL) Group A2 log with 21 points from 15 games.
The football club was owned, managed and financed by two-time governor of the state and former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki.
Formerly known as Bukola Babes FC,the NNL side was established in 2004.
