ABS FC Goes on Break, Dissolves Technical Crew

The management of ABS FC Ilorin has announced that the team will be going on break following the conclusion of their participation in the NNL, NLO, and the President Federation Cup. The decision was made after a review of the team’s performances, which were deemed below average.

Director of Football, Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka while addressing the media at the Swan Hard Talk held on Wednesday May 29th 2024, apologized to fans for the disappointing performances. He announced the dissolution of the technical crew for both the main team and youth team, citing the need for change and improvement.

He added that to prepare for next season, the team will undergo rigorous training and tours, recruit new players, and appoint new coaches. The administrative setup also undergone minor reshuffling with the appointments of Malam Jimoh Bashir as Coordinator, Mr. Tosh Michael as Media Officer, and Malam Wahab Ayinde as Welfare Officer.

Despite challenges and environmental factors, the club is committed to sustaining its solid football structure and bouncing back soonest. The management thanked the proprietor, Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki, for his support in ensuring the team remains a viable avenue for players and coaches to pursue careers in football.
