It was a breath taking moment for the Saraki boys as they pipped their counterpart from the Confluence City one nil to get their second win of the season.

A game apparently dominated by the Coach Elijah led side,the victory has literarily formed a good taste of yuletide season for the Ilorin side as they go on break.

Speaking with the newsmen after the game, Coach Elijah of ABS tagged the game an emotional one giving the fact that Kogi Utd was the last team he managed before teeming up with the Kwara side.

Starting very brightly in a game that saw two red cards going to Tanimu Abubakar of Kogi United and Oyedeji Samuel of ABS FC, the Ilorin side lost the last half pack of the game to the visitor, a situation Coach Elijah reacted as loss of focus on the instructions given to his boys .

He however expressed optimisim as they take on Kebbi on match day 6 of the league after the yuletide break.

“Kebbi should be scared because we are getting our form back and am sure any game we are playing now should be our next three points”.

The former Kogi United gaffer noted that the promotion ticket missed last time he handled the club will be got this time around as he hinted about his conviction of their placement in a less pressure group in the league.

On the other side, the visitor’s handler, Tunde Abdulrahman believe they lost to a low level side as they failed to leverage on the chances they got in the fist half.

He however presumed a bouyant come back from the team when they resume from the yuletide break.
